VCG organised a christmas party for current and potential customers. They wanted to offer prizes using scratch card facilities and an interactive kiosk so users could discover what prize they would win by punching in their 4 digit code and unlocking the vault.

Vanilla Active created an animated 'VCG branded' christmas promotion with santa guiding users through some simple instructions relating to the scratch card they had received. Each code won a prize and was directed to a relevant prize screen followed by a touch screen keyboard where users could register their details to claim their prizes.

This had to be a self contained programme loaded onto a kiosk. With no internet access available to register user details with an online database, we used a combination of Flash and Director technology to create a separate file within the PC for data storage which was then retrieved after the event resulting in prizes being sent to all users.
