With over 20 years at the top of its game, Ace Awards decided to enter the online ecommerce market in 2004. Offering a huge product range including crystal, glass, medals, shields, plaques and trophies, Ace Awards approached Vanilla Active to structure, design and build the web site as well advise on marketing strategies.

With a huge product range always changing, Ace Awards needed to have a content managed system which could add and edit every product and category within the web site. They also needed to add engraving prices based on user requirements, support US dollars and save user and basket information for returning clients. Vanilla Active built a system where prices change in real time allowing the user to understand the pricing options when choosing products and extra options within each product purchased.

In October 2006 we entered phase 2 of the web site and added more functionality which optimised the site for a google marketing campaign. With more products uploaded to the site, we expanded the gallery window and also changed the way customers view there basket. Customers can now view the images they are purchasing within the basket window. We modernised the online brand identity keeping the same key values as well as redesigned the home page to allow for content managed special features and special offers. We also added many specific variations to the adminstators site so products have even more options for clients to choose from.
